P
art of the extensive 4 Vallées area with access to some of the world's best and most accessible off-piste. The resort is best for intermediates and above since the only run back down is a red (although you can take the gondola back down after a day on the blue runs at Thyon 2000). The Printse area lift pass includes Haute-Nendaz, Veysonnaz, and Thyon/Les Collons but not Verbier and Mont Fort - although this is probably sufficient because it takes around 3 hours to get from Veysonnaz to Col des Gentianes.
Best of the Slopes
There is a 9k run off Greppon Blanc all the way down into Veysonnaz, although it involves an unbashed trail. The red runs down to Mayens-de-L'Ours and Veysonnaz off Etherolla drops a vertical kilometre and for red runs have some pretty steep sections.
Where to Eat and Party
Veysonnaz is quiet with a very limited selection of bars and restaurants. The bottom gondola station has few amenities and is a hilly walk from the old village.
