L

auterbrunnen is a pretty village in the valley of the same name that featured in several scenes from the 1969 James Bond film On Her Majesty's Secret Service (as did the restaurant at the top of the nearby Schilthorn). The station has connections to Wengen and Mürren and some local winter sports activities. The Inferno race off the Schilthorn finishes in Lauterbrunnen and for some parts of the season it is possible to ski or snowboard down to the village.

Best of the Slopes

Lauterbrunnen lies at the end of the race line of the Inferno and if snow conditions permit, it is possible to run a rough approximation of the race on-piste from the top of the Schilthorn.
