Winter Sports in Jakobsbad

bove Appenzell and connected by train and cable car, the toboggan run from the summit of the Kronberg to Jakobsbad is 7km long and affords views of the north face of the Santis and of Lake Constance. There is skiing too, and plenty of pleasant winter walks and some cross-country circuits plus plenty of mountain restaurants dotted around.
